Driver flees police, crashes multiple times

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to KSAT12, a man crashed his car multiple times while fleeing police early this morning.

The driver first encountered police around 5:30 a.m. and crashed into a police car at NW 21st Street and Salinas Street.

He then fled, hitting a car driven by a pregnant woman on NW 24th Street. The driver was thrown into the back seat of the car, where officers handcuffed him. But he managed to get back behind the wheel and the chase continued.

His vehicle was disabled when he crashed at railroad tracks near I-10 and Culebra Road.

The suspect was taken to a nearby hospital. Police say he will face charges.
