SAN ANTONIO, TX – One person was taken to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash near the San Antonio River early Monday morning.
According to News 4 SA, the accident took place shortly before 4 a.m. along North St. Mary’s Street at the intersection with McCullough Avenue.
Responding officers say the driver lost control of their vehicle and collided with a bus stop bench before crashing into a utility pole, shearing it in half.
The unidentified driver was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
