Driver injured after GMC rear-ends Maserati on I-69E

BROWNSVILLE, TX – A woman was injured as the result of a multi-vehicle crash on I-69E in Brownsville last week.

The April 14th crash occurred at about 5:45 p.m. near the Ruben M. Torres Boulevard overpass.

Officers with the Brownsville Police Department believe the driver of a 2014 GMC, a 25-year-old man, was speeding when his vehicle slammed into the rear of a 2016 Maserati.

The man in the at-fault vehicle was unhurt. However, the 51-year-old female driver of the Maserati sustained minor injuries in the crash.
