Driver injured in single-vehicle crash on Bicentennial Blvd.

MCALLEN, TX – A Mckinney man was injured as the result of a suspected DWI collision north of downtown McAllen Sunday night.

The crash occurred shortly before 10:50 p.m. within the 2700 block of Bicentennial Boulevard near the intersection with Harvey Drive West.

Investigators believe the 50-year-old male driver of a 2015 Mercedes-Benz has been drinking when he failed to pay attention to the roadway and struck a fixed object. The man was injured as a result of the crash. However, details regarding the extent of his injuries or if he will face any charges have not yet been released.
