SAN ANTONIO, TX – At least one lane was shut down following an early-morning collision on Loop 1604 on Thursday, Total Traffic San Antonio reports.
The accident took place just after 8:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the freeway, near the Bitters Road overpass.

The cause of the crash is not clear at this time. However, the left lane was closed for about a half-hour while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
No injuries have been reported as a direct result of the crash. All lanes were reopened shortly after 9 a.m.
