SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police in San Antonio were forced to block the main lanes of I-35 following a collision on the South Side early Friday morning.
According to Total Traffic San Antonio, the accident occurred at about 6:45 a.m. within the northbound lanes of I-35 near the Somerset Road overpass.

The cause of the crash is not mentioned in the report. However, the main lanes were shut down for several hours while emergency crews worked at the scene.
It is unclear if any injuries were sustained as a direct result of the collision.
