Elderly woman injured following South Side collision

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A 75-year-old woman was reportedly injured as the result of a two-vehicle collision on the South Side last Tuesday afternoon.

The accident occurred shortly after 1 p.m., when the woman drove through a red light and collided with a 2016 Chevrolet at the intersection of S. Staples Street and Saratoga Boulevard.

The woman responsible for the accident suffered a minor injury as a result of the crash. The 39-year-old woman in the Chevrolet was unhurt.
