Emergency crew pull man from vehicle after crash on Northeast Side

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials with the San Antonio Fire Department pulled a man from a multi-vehicle crash Northeast of downtown late Wednesday night.

According to KSAT, the accident was reported at about 11 p.m. on Judson Road near the intersection with Independence Avenue. Police believe the crash was caused when either a red sedan or a minivan crossed a dividing line and crashed into the other.

The man behind the wheel of the sedan was trapped inside his vehicle as a result of the crash. Officials were able to safely extricate him and have him transported to University Medical Center to be treated for injuries to both his face and leg.
