Fatigued driver causes rear-end crash in south San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police in San Antonio were called to the scene of a rear-end collision in the Gillette Area on Sunday morning.

The accident took place just after 8 a.m. within the 300 block of Morsund Boulevard near the intersection with Gillette Boulevard.

Police believe the 35-year-old female driver of a 2008 Lincoln was fatigued or fell asleep behind the wheel when she collided with the rear of a 2000 Ford at the intersection.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the crash, including the 5-year-old child in the front seat of the Lincoln.

It is unclear if the woman responsible will face any charges at this time.
