Fire at Reptilez Sports Bar injures 1

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man was treated for mild burns following a fire at Reptilez Sports Bar Tuesday morning, according to Fox San Antonio.

Heavy smoke and flames were seen on the roof when firefighters arrived at 1621 S New Braunfels Ave around 6 a.m. They discovered a man inside when they entered the building even though the bar had been closed for several hours. He was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Firefighters initially had trouble locating the fire due to the smoke and architecture. Once they found it, they extinguished it quickly. They believe the fire started in the back of the bar.

Arson investigators have been called in to help determine what caused the fire.
