SAN ANTONIO, TX – Firefighters rescued a man from the top of his pickup truck after his vehicle was carried downstream by floodwaters Thursday, News 4 San Antonio reports.
The driver drove into rushing waters near Southwell Rd and Huebner Rd. The waters carried his truck hundreds of feet downstream to Verbena St. He got on top of his truck and called 911.
The firefighters rescued him using a boat. They then transported him to a nearby hospital.
