Ford carrying 4 juveniles rear-ends Chevrolet in Weslaco

WESLACO, TX – No injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle collision near I-2 last Friday afternoon.

The April 9th crash took place shortly after 2 p.m. within the 800 block of North Westgate Drive, south of the intersection with West Pike Boulevard.

Officers with the Weslaco Police Department believe the 40-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2018 Ford was speeding when her vehicle crashed head-on into the rear of a 2017 Chevrolet.

Neither driver, nor the four juvenile passengers in the Ford, sustained any notable injuries as a result of Friday’s Weslaco car accident.
