Head-on crash on San Antonio’s far west side injures 3

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Three people were sent to the hospital following a head-on collision in far west San Antonio early Sunday morning.

According to a report by KSAT, the accident took place at about 2:29 a.m. along Old Grissom Road.

Officers with SAPD believe the driver of a red Fiat was traveling east when a westbound Mountaineer crossed into the oncoming lanes and struck the Fiat head-on.

Both drivers were unresponsive at the scene and were rushed to the hospital in critical condition. A passenger in the Fiat was also hospitalized in serious condition.
