SAN BENITO, TX – Officers with the San Benito Police Department responded to a high-speed collision on Route 77 Friday afternoon.
The crash happened within the intersection of Route 77 and Paso Real at about 1:09 p.m. when the 20-year-old female driver of a 2015 Volkswagen failed to control her speed and struck the rear driver’s side of a 2018 Mitsubishi.
Officials have not reported any injuries as an immediate result of the incident.
