Hit-and-run collision involving child reported on Delia Ave.

CAMERON PARK, TX – Officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety are seeking information that may lead to the suspect responsible for a hit-and-run collision near downtown Cameron Park last Wednesday night.

The incident was reported shortly before 8 p.m. at the intersection of Delia Avenue and Avenida Isabella.

Police say the driver of an unknown vehicle ran through a stop sign and struck the front passenger side of a 2012 Ford driven by a 24-year-old woman with a 3-year-old boy in the back seat.

Neither the woman nor child were injured as a result of the crash. no information with regard to the driver responsible for the crash has been made available at this time.
