Hit-and-run collision reported on Old Military Hwy.

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officers with the Brownville Police Department have reported a hit-and-run collision along Old Military Highway Tuesday night.

The collision occurred at about 9 p.m. within the 200 block of Old Military Highway near the intersection with Military Road.

Police believe the crash was caused by the driver of an unknown vehicle that backed up when it was unsafe to do so and collided with the driver of a 2008 Saturn.

No injuries were reported as a result of the crash. However, the driver responsible fled the scene before police officers arrived.
