NURILLO, TX – A pedestrian died after they were struck by a hit-and-run driver near Cesar Chavez Rd and Owassa Rd Saturday, Valley Central reports.
The driver hit the victim, a 17-year-old male, as he was crossing the street around 12:06 a.m. First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Following the collision, the driver fled the scene on foot.
The incident is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
