SAN ANTONIO, TX – KSAT reports that a pedestrian died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver Wednesday.
The driver of a truck with an extended cab was on northbound Bandera Rd when they collided with the pedestrian near Sherril Brook Rd around 9:40 p.m. They then fled the scene.
EMS crews were called to the crash site by the driver of Kia Soul, who had stopped to render aid to the victim. The paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene of the wreck.
Police will charge the driver with failure to stop and render aid resulting in death if they locate the suspect.
