Hit-and-run driver fatally strikes teen on I-35 Frontage Rd near FM 1103

SCHERTZ, TX – Fox San Antonio says that a fatal hit-and-run collision was reported on I-35 Frontage Rd near FM 1103 Tuesday.

According to police, the suspect collided with the victim, a 16-year-old boy, as he was attempting to cross the road. The suspect then fled the scene.

Police were dispatched to the scene of the accident around 10 p.m. They unsuccessfully performed CPR on the boy and then pronounced him dead.

Officers are viewing security footage from cameras in the area in hopes of getting a description of the suspect or their vehicle.
