PHARR, TX – Officers in Pharr responded to a hit-and-run collision near I-2 late last Tuesday afternoon.
The accident was reported shortly after 3:20 p.m. along South Veterans Boulevard just south of I-2.
Police believe the unknown driver of a silver Kia was traveling at a high rate of speed when they collided with the rear of a 2020 Honda. The driver responsible then fled the scene of the crash before authorities arrived.
Fortunately, both occupants in the Honda were uninjured in the crash.
