Hit-and-run driver strikes two pedestrians near Westlawn

SAN ANTONIO, TX – News 4 reports that a hit-and-run driver collided with two pedestrians at El Paso St and S San Eduardo Ave early Saturday morning.

The driver of a silver Toyota Sequoia hit a 37-year-old male and a 32-year-old male who were lighting fireworks by the roadway around midnight.

First responders transported the two pedestrians to an area hospital. The 37-year-old suffered serious injuries and the 32-year-old suffered minor injuries.

Following the collision, the driver fled the scene and abandoned their vehicle on the 700 block of S San Eduardo Ave. Police will charge the driver with multiple charges once they are located.
