PHARR, TX – A woman was reportedly injured as the result of a hit-and-run collision on I-2 Monday afternoon.
The accident occurred at about 1:30 p.m. near the exit to West Polk Avenue.
Responding officers believe the unidentified driver of a Maroon Dodge was speeding when their vehicle collided with the rear of a 2015 Ford.
The driver in the at-fault vehicle drove away from the scene of the crash before authorities arrived. The 36-year-old female occupant in the Ford sustained unknown injuries.
