SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to MySanAntonio, a cyclist was injured in a hit-and-run accident early Sunday morning on the far South Side. The collision occurred at around 1:06 a.m. at 300 E. Amber Place. A witness saw the crash and called the police to alert them of the injured cyclist.
The victim was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center and treated for a compound fracture. Police say the man arrived at the hospital in a stable condition and is recovering.
SAPD did locate the license plate of the vehicle that hit the cyclist and are investigating the situation currently.
