Homemade napalm used to set fire to truck in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to KSAT, a San Antonio man used homemade napalm to set fire to a truck belonging to his ex-girlfriend’s friend.

32-year-old Joshua Andrew Ames has been arrested on suspicion of arson and possession of an explosive weapon.

On July 14th, firefighters responded to an incident on Misty Plain Drive. Investigators found two unused explosive devices and one that had already burned, igniting the driveway behind the pickup truck.

Police believe Ames sought to burn the vehicle and that the explosive devices were consistent with homemade napalm.
