PHARR, TX – According to a tweet from TxDOT, there will be multiple closures on I-2 in Pharr this week.

I-2 WB main lanes between Egly Ave and Cynthia St.
Thursday, 9/10
I-2 WB main lanes between Stewart Rd and Jupiter St.
Friday, 9/11

Today, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. I-2’s lanes will be reduced between Egly Avenue and Cynthia Street.

Further closures will be undertaken through Friday. The closures will allow crews to obtain needed geotechnical information.

The closures are a part of the ongoing I-2/I-69C Interchange Project.
