Inattentive driver causes multi-vehicle crash near West End Park

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police in San Antonio responded to a multi-vehicle collision northwest of downtown last Thursday afternoon.

The accident took place at about 12:45 p.m. within the 1400 block of Northwest 18th Street near the intersection with Lombrano Street.

Police say the 21-year-old male driver of a 2014 Hyundai was inattentive to the roadway when he ran through a stop sign and was struck by a 1997 Nissan.

Fortunately, neither the man responsible for Thursday’s San Antonio car accident nor the 63-year-old man in the Nissan were injured as a result.
