Inattentive driver causes multi-vehicle crash on Coopers Aly.

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Police responded to a multi-vehicle collision in downtown Corpus Christi early last week.

The accident occurred on April 6th at about 10:05 a.m. within the 400 block of Coopers Alley, east of Mesquite Street.

Investigators believe the 56-year-old male driver of a 2016 Hyundai was inattentive to the roadway when he ran through a stop sign and collided with the rear driver’s side of a 2014 Nissan.

Neither the man in the at-fault vehicle nor the 21-year-old driver in the Nissan was hurt as a result of the crash.
