Injuries reported following Brownsville rear-end collision

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officials with the Brownsville Police Department responded to a rear-end collision near I-69E last Friday morning.

The crash happened at about 9:47 a.m. within the 1800 block of East Los Ebanos Boulevard near the intersection with the I-69E Frontage Road.

Police say the 44-year-old male driver of a 2007 Chevrolet made an improper start from a stopped position and collided with a 2020 Nissan driven by a 59-year-old woman.

The driver of the Nissan was injured as a result of the crash. Details regarding the extent of her injuries remain unknown at this time.
