Injuries reported following rear-end crash in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials in Southwest San Antonio have reported at least one injury resulting from a rear-end car accident late Monday afternoon.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Applewhite Road and South Zarzamora Street at about 3:40 p.m. Police believe the 24-year-old male driver of a 1993 Toyota failed to notice slowed traffic and drove into the rear of a 2004 Dodge.

The driver of the Dodge, a 60-year-old woman, was injured in the crash. Details regarding the extent of her injuries have not yet been made public.
