Injuries reported following weekend motorcycle crash in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officials with the Corpus Christi Police Department have reported at least one injury resulting from an auto vs. motorcycle accident Saturday morning.

The crash occurred at about 11:23 a.m. near the intersection of South Port Avenue and Southgate Drive. Investigators on the scene believe the 46-year-old male driver of a 2011 Harley-Davidson was following a 1994 Chevrolet too closely and ended up rear-ending the vehicle.

The motorcyclist sustained injuries in the crash that are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
