MCALLEN, TX – Officials with the McAllen Police Department have reported at least one injury resulting from a two-vehicle crash near I-2 Sunday evening.
The incident was reported shortly after 7 p.m. near the intersection of South Taylor Road and East Expressway 83. Officials say the 19-year-old driver of a 2009 Chevrolet backed into a 2018 Dodge when it was unsafe to do so.
The driver of the Chevrolet was injured as a result of the crash. However, the extent of his injuries has not yet been made available.
