Injuries reported in rear-end crash on SH-358

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officials with the Corpus Christi Police Department have reported at least one injury resulting from a rear-end crash on SH-358 Monday afternoon.

The crash happened on SH-358 near the exit to Old Brownsville Road just after 2:30 p.m.

Investigators at the scene say the 36-year-old female driver of a 2010 Hyundai failed to control her speed and collided with the rear of a 2019 Toyota driven by a 61-year-old woman.

The driver of the Hyundai sustained non-incapacitating injuries as a result of the crash. The woman behind the wheel of the Toyota was uninjured.
