Injury reported following 3-vehicle crash on Boca Chica Blvd.

BROWNSVILLE, TX – One person was reportedly injured as the result of a three-car collision in Northeast Brownsville Monday morning.

The accident occurred near the intersection of Boca Chica Boulevard and Billy Mitchell Boulevard at about 10:27 a.m.

Officials believe the 35-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2005 Acura failed to pay attention to the road in front of him when he collided with the rear of a 2009 Cadillac. The force of the initial impact sent the Cadillac into the rear of a 2013 Ford.

The driver of the Cadillac, a 40-year-old man was injured as a result of the crash. Details regarding the extent of his injuries remain unknown at this time.
