Injury reported following collision on East Jefferson Street

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officers with the Brownsville Police Department have reported at least one injury resulting from a collision on E. Jefferson Street Monday evening.

The collision was reported shortly after 6 p.m. near the intersection of E. Jefferson St. and East 7th Street just outside of Washington Park.

A 39-year-old woman driving a 2003 Ford collided with a 2005 Mitsubishi. Speed is believed to have been a factor.

The woman in the Ford suffered a non-incapacitating injury. Her identity is not available at this time.
