Injury reported following collision on Memorial Parkway

PORTLAND, TX – One woman was reportedly injured as the result of a tw0-vehicle collision on the Memorial Parkway Saturday evening.

The accident was reported just after 5:40 p.m. along Memorial Pkwy. at the intersection with Wildcat Drive.

Police say the 25-year-old woman driving a 2006 Pontiac backed up when it was unsafe to do so and collided with the rear of a 2008 Chevrolet.

The driver of the Chevrolet, a 37-year-old woman, was reported injured immediately following the crash. Details regarding her condition have not yet been made available to the public.
