BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officers with the Brownsville Police Department have reported at least one injury resulting from a head-on collision on Boca Chica Boulevard last Monday.
The crash happened within the 2400 block of Boca Chica Blvd. near the I-69E overpass at about 9:53 p.m.
Investigators say the 20-year-old male behind the wheel of a 2008 Jeep made a turn when it was unsafe to do so and collided head-on with a 2009 Toyota.
The driver of the Toyota, a 26-year-old man, was reportedly injured as a result of the crash. However, the extent of his injuries has not yet been made clear.
