Injury reported following head-on collision on Ayers St.

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Investigators with the Corpus Christi Police Department have reported one injury as the result of a head-on collision on Ayers Street Tuesday evening.

The accident was reported around 6:30 p.m. within the 4000 block of Ayers St. just east of SH-286.

Police believe the 71-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2014 Nissan made a wide right turn and collided with the front passenger side of a 2013 Ford.

A 43-year-old male passenger in the Nissan was reportedly injured as the result of the crash. No information with regard to the extent of their injuries has been released at this time.
