BROWNSVILLE, TX – An elderly woman was injured as the result of a high-speed rear-end collision on East Price Road last Tuesday afternoon.
The car accident in Brownsville occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m. within the 2400 block of East Price Rd. near the intersection with Lindale Drive.
Investigators say the 69-year-old male driver of a 2002 Chevrolet was speeding when his vehicle collided with the rear of a 2002 Honda.
The driver responsible for the collision was uninjured in the crash. However, his 72-year-old female passenger was injured as a result. Details regarding the extent of her injuries remain unknown at this time.
No other injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
