Injury reported in single-vehicle crash near I-69E

BROWNSVILLE, TX – One man was reportedly injured as the result of a single-vehicle suspected DWI crash early Sunday morning.

The crash occurred along Anacua Street just east of I-69R shortly before 3 a.m.

Police say the 29-year-old man had been drinking when he got behind the wheel of a 1990 Dodge and crashed it into a fixed object along the roadway.

The driver was injured in the crash, but the extent of his injuries has not yet been released.
