EDINBURG, TX – Lightning may be to blame for a major house fire in Edinburgh on Wednesday, KRGV reports.
The fire broke at a home off of Canton Road out almost immediately after a storm passed through the area.
Passersby noticed flames coming from the attic and stopped to let the family, who was unaware at the time, that their house was on fire.
Fortunately, everyone was able to get out safely. However, the house sustained significant water damage.
