Local authorities identify pedestrian killed in April 17 train accident

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Local authorities have identified the pedestrian killed in the April 17 train accident at Roland Avenue and J Street.

This is an update to a previous post.

The deceased pedestrian was identified as 31-year-old Orlando Lombard Junior, according to NEWS4SA.

According to the train conductor, Lombard was laying in the train tracks. The train conductor blew the horn and was unable to stop in time before striking Lombard.

Lombard was pronounced dead at the crash scene.
