MCALLEN, TX – According to a tweet from the Texas Department of Transportation, maintenance work is affecting eastbound I-2 between Los Ebanos Road to Ware Road.

A TxDOT contractor is scheduled to work on installing new pavement, replacing metal beam guard fence, and temporary stripe tabs on EB lanes of I-2 between Los Ebanos Rd to Ware Rd (FM 2220) in @CityofMcAllen from tonight thru 9/18 from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM

The maintenance is scheduled to last until Friday, September 18th. Crews will be working overnight, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. New pavement, guardrails, and stripes will be installed.
