SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to Fox San Antonio, a serious single-vehicle car crash led to the closure of I-37 this morning.
The accident was reported around 9:30 this morning following a crash involving a BMW.
The BMW was speeding to pass other vehicles when the driver lost control, causing the car to hit a concrete barrier and flip. The driver was ejected and sustained serious head and leg injuries.
The accident closed the southbound lanes of I-37. According to a TxDOT tweet, the highway was reopened by 11:30 a.m.
