Man arrested following chase through Bexar County

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to KSAT, a man has been arrested following a police chase through Bexar County.

The chase began yesterday afternoon near Highway 16 and Twin Valley, south of San Antonio. Police pursued the man after receiving reports of a reckless driver.

Early in the chase, the man rear-ended an 18-wheeler on the Lone Star Parkway, at which point he stopped and let out a passenger. The driver fled onto Loop 410, then I-35, and finally I-37.

The chase ended on West Hutchins Place, where the man left his vehicle and fled on foot. Police arrested him near the street’s 1300 block.

27-year-old Anthony Quiroga is facing multiple charges stemming from the incident.
