SAN ANTONIO, TX – KTSA reports that a 28-year-old man died and his female passenger was injured following a rollover accident on southbound I-35 early Monday morning.
Bruce Jimenez lost control of his vehicle while trying to pass another vehicle near W Southcross Blvd. Police say his car went off-road, down an embankment, and into a tree. The impact from crashing into the tree caused his vehicle to roll over.
Jimenez was pronounced dead at the scene around 2:30 a.m. His passenger was treated for minor injuries.
Impairment is not believed to have been a factor in the crash.
