Man hurt after head-on collision near downtown McAllen

MCALLEN, TX – A man was reportedly injured as the result of a multi-vehicle crash near downtown McAllen last week.

The accident took place on June 1st at about 2:45 p.m. within the 400 block of North 2nd Street, near the intersection with Datepalm Avenue.

Responding officers believe the 39-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2020 Chevrolet drove through the stop sign and collided with a 2012 Chevrolet.

The man responsible for the crash, and his two passengers, were unhurt. However, the 64-year-old male driver of the 2012 Chevrolet suffered unknown injuries as a result of the crash.
