SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police in San Antonio responded to a multi-vehicle collision in which one man was critically injured and multiple people fled on foot Saturday night.
The accident occurred around 9:47 p.m. when the driver of a pickup truck collided with a concrete barrier and then an SUV near the intersection of Old Highway 90 and 36th Street, according to WOAI.
Initially, investigators could not locate the driver of the truck. However, he was found a short time later nearly a block away from the scene of the crash in critical condition and transported to a local hospital.
Another occupant in the truck escaped on foot and has not yet been identified.
The driver of the SUV was uninjured in the crash.
