Man in critical condition following Northeast side crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man was seriously injured following a collision near Encino Park Elementary School early Friday morning.

According to WOAI, the accident was reported at about 1:30 a.m. along Caliza Drive near the intersection with Marin Hills.

Police say the unidentified male driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a roadside tree. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was thrown from the vehicle.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.

Investigators are working to establish the cause of the crash at this time.
