Man injured after attempting to board train near Brady Gardens

SAN ANTONIO, TX – KSAT reports that a man in his 40s was injured after being pulled under a train at South Zarzamora St and Hazel St Tuesday.

The victim was sitting on the tracks when a train was approaching. He grabbed a handle on the train in an attempt to board it, but was instead drug underneath it.

Dispatchers sent officers, firefighters, and rescue crews to the scene after receiving reports of the accident around 10:45 p.m. The victim was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

Authorities have not released the victim’s name at this time.
