McAllen police respond to rear-end collision on Pecan Blvd.

MCALLEN, TX – Two people were reportedly injured as the result of a multi-vehicle collision at a busy McAllen intersection early this week.

The rear-end collision, which took place on February 28th, occurred at about 3:19 p.m. at the intersection of Pecan Boulevard and SH-336.

Responding officers believe the 21-year-old female driver of a 2018 Buick was speeding when she collided with the rear of a 1997 Toyota.

Neither the driver in the at-fault vehicle nor her passenger was injured as a result of the crash. However, both occupants in the Toyota, ages 46 and 47, sustained minor injuries.
